Considering exclusive role of youth in social and economic development of the society, SAFWCO has empowered youth as its primary focus in all of its following thematic areas.

• Creating leadership skills among youth to act as leader of their respective communities in social and economic development arenas
• Assisting Youth to act as ambassador for Education & Literacy Promotion in their area
• Youth working as bridge between communities and Govt: on provision of MNCH, Nutrition and Primary Health
• Providing skill trainings, mentorship, business coaching to Youth in Rural Economics & Livelihood Enhancement
• Assisting Youth farmers through advanced agriculture development options to improve their family wellbeing
• Facilitating Youth to act as frontline players in Disaster Risk reduction and Response
• Releasing confidence among Youth in Life skill based education
• Collaborating with Youth to influence policy and decision makers in “Advocacy and Governance” frontlines
• Organizing rural and urban Youth (men and women) for undertaking sustainable development initiatives primarily on self-help basis
• Undertake participatory development programs for poverty alleviation and improvement of quality of life of the youth from poor strata
• Facilitate Youth women participation in the development activities and promote their socio economic empowerment
